Charles Edward Cohee, 34 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Independence, Kansas on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Charles Edward Cohee was born on July 3, 1990 in Chanute, Kansas to Charles and Cindy (McGinnis) Cohee. He attended the Chanute school system. Through the years Charles worked a variety of jobs from caregiver to construction. Charles looked forward to the time he got to go out on a nice cruise on his motorcycle. He also loved to go fishing, shooting guns and insisted on eating at all the Chinese buffets he came across. Most of all, Charles adored the time he spent with his daughter Hattie. Hattie was his world and he would do anything to make her happy. Charles was a very social person who met friends everywhere he went.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Cindy Cohee and grandparents, Suntok and Edward McGinnis.
His memory will live on with his daughter, Hattie Cohee, brothers, Matthew Cohee and Perseus Knudsen, sisters, Cara Clark, Nicole Cohee, and Sheena Cohee, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Chanute on Friday, December 20th at 10:00 am. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 am with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
