Charles E. Decker, 79, of Howard, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, KS. He was born September 1, 1928 in Grayling, MI, the son of Francis Peter and Hazel (Leline) Decker.
In 1948, Charles married Darlene Love, she passed away in 2000. He worked as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Michigan. During his retirement, Charles loved to mow, and do wood burning. But most of all he loved being with family and friends

Hazel Nowlin, Ada, OK
One Sister: Anna Stoddard, Fredric, MI
15 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by: two children, Edward and Carl Decker, brothers; Arthur and Francis P. Decker Jr. and sisters Laura Tinker and Beatrice Baldwin
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contribution to the Harry Hynes Hospice, and can be mailed to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
