Charles Mayer's Obituary
Charles Mayer, 74, a lifelong resident of Neodesha passed away Thursday December 28, 2023, in his home with life partner Claudia and granddaughter Courtney by his side. Charles was born November 10, 1949, in Thayer, KS to his Father Charles Mayer and Mother Norma “Greer” Mayer.
Charles was a lifelong truck driver, always succeeding in getting every license to be qualified to transport every type of material. Charles was known as a hard worker, working at every possible point in his life. He loved working on farms, cutting fields, bailing hay. He also had found a love for his own garden, that he would go above and beyond to make sure he could grow anything he wanted and taught his loved ones how to garden and how to make it look beautiful. Charles loved his vehicles; he always polished and made his motorcycle shine. He also loved hot rods and would order magazines to see all the new styles of cars that they would come out with, he also loved guns. Charles made an impact with not only his family but with every person he encountered in his life making an impact on every life he could. Charles will be extremely missed but forever in our hearts.
