Charles Richard Chard's Obituary
Charles Richard Chard, age 84, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Allen County Hospital in Iola. Charles was born on December 28, 1925 at Humboldt, Kansas the son of John Hubbert and Nina Chard.
Charles was a WWII Veteran where he served as a Merchant Marine. On September 21, 1945 he married Maudena Faye Fletcher. Maudena passed away on December 1, 2009. Charles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Iola. He was an active for many years in the Lions Club International.

Deborah Gatling of Arlington, Texas.
One Brother:
Arthur Chard of Minnesota
Two Sisters:
Nancy Chard of Alaska
Bobbie Chard of Great Bend, Kansas
3 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by; parents, wife Maudena, and sister Patty Sue Timming
Graveside services will be held Friday July 2, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Humboldt with Bishop Harry Lee officiating.
