Charles Taft Schroeder Jr's Obituary
Charles Taft Schroeder Jr, age 74, a resident of Fredonia, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Charles was born March 17, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Charles Taft and Josephine Dorothy ( Andalikiewicz) Schroeder Sr.
Charles was a graduate of Wyandotte High School, after high school he attended trade school and completed some college. Charles worked as an Electrician for several years for the Santa Fe Rail Road.
On December 16, 1967 Charles married Judy Lynne Wilson at the Fredonia First Christian Church. Charles and Judy were married for 44 years. She survives at their home.
Charles was very active with the Abdellah Temple Shrine out Kansas City, KS, he attended many parades and activities with his little red wagon. He was also active with the Wyandotte Masonic Lodge # 3, and was a Blue Lodge Member. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed duck hunting, going fishing, watching T.V., fixing things and spending time with his dog “Pepper Sabaka” and most of all; his wife Judy.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cornerstone Christian Church in Fredonia. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Shawnee, Kansas.
