Charles Eugene Whitacre's Obituary
Charles Eugene “Gene” Whitacre, 47, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his home in Humboldt, KS. Charles was born on March 23, 1968 in Grants Pass, Oregon, the son of Nova Almeday Shelley.
Charles worked in the oilfield when he was younger before he had his accident. Charles later moved to Kansas.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother Nova and his Grandmother Emily Murray.
He is survived by his sons: Adam Dally, Charles Eugene “Bear” Dally, Dakota Whitacre, Matthew Whitacre, and Tristan Whitacre; a daughter Ann Dally; and a brother Daryl Whitacre and wife April; his grand-daughter, Jasmine Dally; his ex-wife, Leigh Carson; niece, Emily Whitacre; nephew, Caleb Montgomery; three special friends: Tammy, Hope and his neighbor Mary Ann of Kansas.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be a small family service held at Lutie Cemetery in Wilburton, OK on November 14, 2015 at 2 p.m.
