Charlotte J. Davidson's Obituary
Charlotte J. Davidson, 79, of Neodesha, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Wilson County Medical Center. Charlotte was born on August 3, 1943 in Eureka, KS the daughter of Charles R. and Verna J. (Blevins) Maloney. When Charlotte was 3, her father Charles passed away, and she was lovingly raised by her mother and stepfather John McDonald.
While attending school, Charlotte got a job as a "Shampoo Girl" and knew instantly, this will be the job that she loved. After graduation she attended Cosmetology School in Bartlesville, OK, ultimately owning and operating her own business as a hairdresser and retired after 52 years at the age of 70. She also loved auctions and antiques, and had an antique store in Neodesha for a couple years
Charlotte stayed active in the community, and with her church. She served as the PTA President for 7 years, Supported and was active in school events along with being a member of the booster club. Charlotte was also well known for her baking and had made the newspaper several times. Charlotte's home was always open to family and friends, and she made sure that you never left hungry.
In December of 1964, Charlotte married Ray Martin, and they later divorced. In 1996 she married Richard Davidson and he survives at their home. Charlotte and Richard loved to go to dances, enjoyed taking trips to casinos, and going to auctions whenever they could.

Two Great Grandchildren: Shelby Crowell and Agustin Botello
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ray Martin and brother Lyle McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Neodesha, burial to follow at Neodesha City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Neodesha. Memorials have been suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
