Charlotte Marie Rita's Obituary
Charlotte Marie Rita, age 70, formerly of Chanute, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Charlotte was born on January 25, 1946 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Paul Fredrick and Lottie Mae (Williams) Cain.
On March 18, 1969, Charlotte married Joseph William Rita in Leavenworth, KS. Joe survives her at their home.
Charlotte worked for Applewood Nursing Home for 25 years in the medical records office. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, socializing with friends and family over social media and spending time camping and being outdoors. She also loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4 -6 PM at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel. A service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene. Private inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
