Christine Rene Taliaferro's Obituary
Christine Rene Taliaferro, 33, of Neodesha passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Christine was born on November 14, 1988, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Timothy and Phyllis (Spurrier) Taliaferro.
Christine grew up in Tulsa and in Caney, Kansas. After receiving her GED, Christine went to culinary school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated. Upon graduation from culinary school, Christine began her career as a chef, until various health issues forced her to give up her passion for cooking.
Christine was a member of the Nazarene Church in Chanute and also attended First Baptist Church in Chanute. In her spare time, Christine loved to watch movies, the Kansas City Chiefs, and spend time with her dog. Christine will always be remembered for being a sweet, loving, polite, and very tough woman.
Christine is survived by her sister Haley Shattuck of Independence, KS.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents Timothy and Phyllis and her grandparents.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 11:00 am at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, Kansas. Memorials have been suggested to the First Baptist Church, Nazarene Church and to the ASPCA, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
