Ciara Joan Edwards' Obituary
Ciara Joan Edwards, age 32, of Chanute, KS, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 outside of Iola, KS. Ciara was born on April 3, 1985 in Chanute, KS the daughter of Richard and Rhonda (Phillips) Barnow.
Ciara graduated from Humboldt High School in 2003. She married Darin Edwards and had they one child together and later divorced. Ciara worked in billing at NMRMC and recently started a new job NCCC.
Ciara was a loving mother and her children always came first. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her nephews. Ciara loved the water and going to the lake. As she was growing up, Ciara enjoyed duck hunting with her dad and recently won a gun and enjoyed shooting it. Ciara’s favorite music was country music and she went to many concerts with mom. She will be greatly missed.

Ciara was preceded in death by her grandparents; Henry and Audrey Barnow and Charles Phillips.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Gibson Chapel in Chanute, KS. A funeral service will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Good News Center in Chanute, KS. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
