Cinda Lou Krenzin's Obituary
Cinda Lou (Pallister) Krenzin, age 66, a longtime resident of Chanute, KS passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014 at her home after a courageous two year battle with brain cancer.
Cinda was born on August 11, 1947 in Hutchinson, KS to Lyle & Barbara Pallister. Her childhood home was in the Midland Community of rural Rice County Kansas. She graduated from Nickerson Rural High School in 1965. Cinda then attended Pittsburg State University and graduated from Sid’s Hairdressing College in Hutchinson, KS.
On August 27, 1967 she married Steven E. Krenzin. Cinda worked as a beautician throughout her life, making so many people feel beautiful with her special touch. She owned and operated her own salon, The Klassie Klip, in Chanute, KS since 1983. Cinda was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and Chapter DD of P.E.O. where she worked to help young women further their education.
Cinda is survived by her husband Steve; two sons, Brian and wife Becky, Brent and wife Amy; three grandchildren Tyler, Christopher & Conner; her parents, Barbara & Lyle Pallister; two sisters Linda Gentry (her twin), Judy Teufel, and one sister-in-law Judy Krenzin.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July17, 2014 from 5:00 – 5:30 PM, followed by visitation from 5:30 – 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel at 101 N. Highland in Chanute, KS where family and friends can gather to remember Cinda. She will be laid to rest at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Hutchinson, Kansas in a private family ceremony.
