Clara Ellen Hampton's Obituary
Clara Ellen Hampton, age 81, a resident of Mooreland, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Mooreland Heritage Manor. She was born on September 26, 1931 in Leon, Kansas the daughter of John and Louvilla Marie (Wohlford) Burnham.
Clara worked for the Severy School Cafeteria for 16 years and she loved every day of it. She always tried her best to take care of her family and friends. Clara loved to crochet and always found a way to smile even at her worst.
Clara is survived by one son-in-law Richard Digman, one granddaughter Barbara Hughes, one great granddaughter Clara Hughes, one niece Maureen Smith and three great nieces; Amanda, Alicia and Analisha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loyal Patterson and two daughters; Ellen Hahs and Tami Digman.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at South Lawn Cemetery, Severy, Kansas. Family suggests memorials to Faith Hospice and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside - Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.
