Clara Irene Hendrickson's Obituary
Clara Irene Hendrickson, age 86, of Chanute, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 in Chanute, Kansas. Clara was born on May 12, 1930 in Souix City Iowa, the daughter of Nettie (Ewig) Biggs.
On March 16, 1951, Clara married Richard Hendrickson in Fort Scott, KS. Richard preceded her in death in April of 2003.
Clara attended college in Ft. Scott and worked in her younger years as a bookkeeper. She was a great homemaker and caregiver to her seven children. She loved flowers, especially violets. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and they would often wait for her in anticipation.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and a sister Sharon Lee Gray.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Scott, KS.
