Clara "Sissie" Beatrice Clemens' Obituary
Clara Beatrice Clemens, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Francis in Wichita, KS. Clara was born on September 18, 1946 in Iola, Kansas the daughter of Raymond and Violet (Bryant) Houdashelt.
Clara married Gary Ingle and they raised 3 children together. Gary preceded her in death.
Clara retired as a seamstress working in clothing factories. She also liked to crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Clara enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gary.
She is survived by her son Corey Ingle of Humboldt, KS; her daughters: Greta Ingle of Humboldt, KS and Dixie Funk – husband Bill –of Poala, KS; Sisters Jill Simmons of Oswego, Robin Ward of Fredonia, Etta Stanley of Humboldt, Dorothy Zierk of Phoenix, Arizona; and Brothers: Kim Houdashelt of Humboldt and Kerry Houdashelt of Humboldt; Grandchildren: Thomas Funk, Jochob Funk, and Nisha Ingle as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold graveside service on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
Family requests memorials to Harry Hynes Hospice or to the family to defer funeral expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS.
