Clarence R. North's Obituary
Clarence R. North, age 87 of Fredonia, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at The Life Care Center in Wichita, KS. In Grenola, Kansas, on August 11, 1927 Clarence was born to Simon Charlie North and Pearl May (Hoyt) North.
Clarence was a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy for 2 years. After his military duty, Clarence became an over-the-road truck driver. Clarence was a long time member of the Shriners International and transported many sick children to the Shriners Hospital for treatment. Clarence was also a member of the Kansas Freemasons Constellation Lodge #95. Clarence loved the outdoors and spent his free time enjoying outside activities, especially camping.
On November 5, 2011 Clarence was united in marriage to Darlene (Anderes) Ratzlaff, she survives of the home.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Minnie Lindenstruth and Phyllis Bolton, 1 brother; Walter North and wives; Sue North and Marie North.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Mike Hughes officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in San Antonio, Texas at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia.
