Clinton Frank Baker's Obituary
Frank Baker, age 76, a lifelong resident of Fredonia passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008 at his home. Frank was born on October 22, 1931 in Fredonia the son of Levi Clinton and Fern Gladys (Fulghum) Baker.
He was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1951. On May 17, 1953 Frank was united in marriage to Althea Pearl Lambert in Fredonia. Frank was a hard working farmer that also worked at inventing things to make work easier. He was an active rural firefighter for 40 years. Frank was known for growing sweet corn and turnips and always lending a helping hand. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching others learn to enjoy the outdoors too.

Burke Baker of Fredonia, Kansas

Brenda Heins of Cozad, Nebraska
Dana Hobbs of Buffalo, Kansas
One brother:
Bud Baker of LaFontaine, Kansas
17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Keith, and two sisters; Dortha Nell and Barbara Baker
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Countryside Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sherman officiating. Interment will be at the Weakley Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the Old Iron Club, Fredonia Assembly of God Royal Rangers or the Saddle Pals Handicap Riding of Cozad, Nebraska and may be left in care of the funeral home.
