Clyde L. Shinkle's Obituary
Clyde L. Shinkle, age 76, a resident of Fall River, Kansas passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Via Christi - St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on April 11, 1932 in Fall River the son of Luther and Anna (Thompson) Shinkle.
Clyde was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a farmer and enjoyed hunting.
On September 12, 1963 Clyde married Sandra Sue Wince in Nevada, Missouri and to this union seven children were born.
He is survived by one son Mike Shinkle and his wife Cyara of Fall River, Kansas, two daughters, Nancy Glover and Darleen Raulston and her husband Mac both of Neosho, Missouri, seven grandchildren; Richard Banks, Sumer Banks, Shelby Raulston, Logan Shinkle, Kelsi Glover, Arien Shinkle, and Dean Shinkle and lots of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and four children; Dennis, Cherri, Bradley, and Jeannie Shinkle.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Countryside Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Judith Messner officiating. Interment will be at Caley Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Children’s Miracle Network of Joplin, Missouri and may be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.
