Cory Joe Allen's Obituary
Cory Joe Allen, 40, of Chanute passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Labette Health in Parsons, KS. Cory was born on October 21, 1980 in Strafford, OK the son of Michael and Billie Jean (Robinson) Allen.
After completing high school, Cory joined the U. S. Navy. Cory was an avid O. U. Fan, he enjoyed music, going fishing with his children and cared for and helped others. Cory tried to stay as active with his family as he could until his muscular dystrophy made it more difficult for him.

Cremation has been requested and the family will be holding a Celebration of Life Service in both Chanute and later in Oklahoma. Memorials have been suggested to the MDA Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
