Daisy P. Gulick's Obituary
Daisy Pearl Gulick, of Fredonia, age 76 passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at her home. Daisy was born on February 6, 1941 in Neodesha, KS., the daughter of Charles Austin and Ruth(Briles) Barnhart.
Daisy was a graduate of Altoona High School. On July 14, 1964 in Tulsa, OK she married Shirley Gulick. Daisy and Shirley have been married for 53 years, and Shirley survives at his home.
Daisy worked as a CNA at Fredonia nursing home and Independence hospital. Daisy enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting and making Barbie clothing. Daisy loved music and she enjoyed playing the accordion and keyboard. She enjoyed cooking for her family, making homemade bread, and “her famous peanut brittle.” Daisy loved spending time her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Jeffrey Owen officiating, burial to follow at Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and may be left with the funeral home.
