Dale Clayton Aikins' Obituary
Dale Clayton Aikins, age 74, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 in Neodesha, Kansas. Dale was born on September 5, 1942 in Chanute, KS the son of Harry Clayton and Marjorie Francis (Reeves) Aikins.
Dale proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1965. After his service, he worked as a general contractor. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, guns, and building picture frames. Dale was a member of American Legion Post #170.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dean Aikins.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel with inurnment following at Fort Scott National Cemetery in Fort Scott, KS.
