Dale A. Sharp's Obituary
Dale Allen Sharp, age 80 of Benedict, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Dale was born on December 25, 1934 in Rural Wilson County the son of Gordon Arlo and Cleone Iola (Smith) Sharp
Dale was a graduate of Fredonia High School Class of 1952. On January 11, 1953 at the First Methodist Church in Fredonia, he married Pat Marshall, they were married 32 years until her death in 1986. On June 6, 1987 Dale married Beverly Bagby, she survives at their home.
Dale was a lifetime farmer, while farming he worked at General Portland Cement for 17 years. Dale was a member of the First Christian Church of Fredonia where he served as a Deacon and an Elder for the church. Earlier in life Dale enjoyed fishing and hunting. Dale was dedicated to his family, he attended any event that his children or grandchildren were in. He especially enjoyed going to sporting events to watch his children and grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pat, daughter Sheila Nelson and grandchildren Landon and Brady Neill.
Cremation has been requested with a Celebration of Life service to be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church in Fredonia with Pastor Claude Shue officiating.
