Dale Ray Yowell's Obituary
Dale Ray Yowell, age 65, of Humboldt, KS, passed away at his home on October 28, 2017. Dale was born on October 23, 1952 in Chanute, KS the son of Eldon C.B. and Ruth Louise (LaSalle) Yowell. He married his high school sweetheart, Randee Kay McCullough, on January 16, 1971 and was the best husband to her for 46 years. She survives him at their home.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Monarch Cement Company in Humboldt, KS and was also a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Local Boilermaker Lodge D93 and was a past volunteer fireman.
Dale loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Roaring River State Park, hunting, farming, watching K.U. Basketball, and drinking coffee. Dale coached baseball for many years. More recently, he spent his spare time watching cooking shows and taught himself to cook great meals for his family.

Cremation has been requested.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, KS. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Humboldt First Baptist Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
