My deepest condolences for everyone who knew him. I met my Father-in-Law at our wedding. I had no idea I’d soon come to know him as Grandfather to our 4 kids. He was always there when we needed him, he was a hero to our kids- capable of larger than life feats. I’ll never forget his artistic and musical talent, how it all came so easily to him. He carved Pete the Cat in a pumpkin for Teddy, modeled a Minion out of clay, built side tables with Tim out of wood scraps and much more. He always wanted to enjoy the time he spent with us, have fun and relax, never be too serious or worry about much at all.
I’m so sad he never got to meet our new baby. They were able to FaceTime, and he lit up with joy when he saw her. We will miss him, always.
