Danielle Nicole Cruse's Obituary
Danielle Nicole Cruse was suddenly taken from this earth on Jan. 14, 2015; she was 25 years old. Danielle was born March 23, 1989 in Fort Scott, the daughter of Rodney Stuart and Debra Jo (Gunsaullus) Cruse Perkins.
Danielle was raised in Fort Scott for a short time, then the family moved to Chanute and she began 1st Grade in Chanute schools. Later Danielle began getting her education online and finished her schooling through Humboldt. Danielle was blessed with a son, Brayden Donovan, from a previous relationship. Around 2007, she and Matt Cohee began their relationship that would last for the next seven years. The couple had two children together, Irelyn and Colson Cohee.
Recently Danielle had begun creating meals with new recipes as she liked to cook and loved food. Her family was important to her and she loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed shopping and was always ready to find her next bargain. Her family knew her as a happy, caring and funny individual. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Danielle Nicole Cruse was preceded in death by a grandmother, two grandfathers, and a cousin, Aysa Frazier. She is survived by her long-time loving significant other Matt Cohee, her children, Brayden Donovan and Irelyn and Colson Cohee; her parents, Rodney Cruse and stepmother Anita, Parsons; and Debra (Debbie) Perkins and stepfather Rodney, Chanute. Danielle is also survived by her brother, Chadley Cruse, Parsons, and her sisters, Brandy Cruse, Fort Scott, and Tatum Cruse, Chanute; and her maternal grandmother Jaqueline Gunsaullus, as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Danielle will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will meet with friends the evening prior to the service, Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 from 6 -8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home - Johnson Chapel. The family requests memorials be made to the Brayden, Irelyn, Colson Educational Fund and sent in care of Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
