Danny Ray Cox's Obituary
Danny Ray Cox, age 64, a resident of rural Altoona, Kansas passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012. He was born on October 6, 1948 in Neodesha, Kansas the son of Lester and Myra (Polson) Cox.
Danny was a self employed rancher. He was a member of the PRCA where he did the rodeo circuit for 10 years and a member of the AQHA. Danny also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his mother Myra Hollingsworth of Altoona, Kansas, one daughter Bonnie Kay Wall of Kansas City, Kansas, three sons; Adam Roy Cox of Jacksonville, Florida, Ross Lee Cox and Matthew Ray Cox both of Altoona, Kansas, two brothers; Gene Cox of Alaska and Stacy Cox of Altoona, Kansas, a sister Michelle Vanderpool of Nashville, Tennessee and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Altoona Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association and may be left in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.
