Danny Haley's Obituary
Danny Haley, 54, of Augusta, KS, (formerly of Chanute) passed away on January 30, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1964 to Larry Lynn and Judith Kay (Griffin) Haley in Moberly, MO. He enjoyed his career in computer information technology and most recently worked for CVR Refining in Coffeyville, KS before relocating to Augusta.
Danny was a big kid who was larger than life and had an unforgettable laugh. He was the best uncle to his six nieces and nephews and was lovingly referred to as the “Uncle with the yellow car” because of his 1992 yellow Corvette that was his baby. Danny enjoyed building computers, playing online games, fishing and owning large fish aquariums, and had a passion for attending heavy metal 80’s rock concerts. More recently, Danny developed a great affection for his Mom’s dog, Max, who he cared for over the last six years.

Danny was preceded in death by his mom, Judith Haley.
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will take place at Buffalo United Methodist Church in Buffalo, KS on March 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place privately at a later date at Buffalo Cemetery.
