Darrel Loyd Leckliter passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 19th at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. Darrel, a Kansas native, was 69. He was born in El Dorado on April 17, 1947, to Darrel and Marie Leckliter. He Read Obituary
El Dorado High School Class of 1965 wish to send our remembrance to all of Darrel's family. I was able via our FB page, El Dorado, KS Class of 1965 to notify members of Liz's call last evening. Darrel was remembered today when the Class of '65 Lunch Bunch met for their monthly gathering in El Dorado. While Darrel and I did not have classes together, I could immediately picture him in my mind. I visited with Darrel in the summer before our 50th Reunion and he told me of his health issues. Darrel was one of a kind.... he was so honest and didn't mind telling you what he thought. He had a heart of gold and will be missed. May the Angels greet you with joyous laughter, Darrel!
