Darrell L. Worthington's Obituary
Darrell Lee Worthington, 77, of Grenola, KS passed away at his home on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Darrell was born on January 2, 1945 at Ft. Benning, GA. the son of Leo Benjamin and Alma (Patterson) Worthington.
After graduating from high school, Darrell joined the US Army. Darrell worked as a Software Engineer until his retirement. Darrell loved working with computers and any kind of electronic equipment. He enjoyed playing video games and listening to the older style of country and western music
On May 14, 2021 Darrell married Elaine Nesmith, and she survives at their home.

Four Children: Sheila, Karla, Russell and Darrell
He also has four brothers and numerous grandchildren.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and previous wife Bonnie
Cremation has been requested and no services are planned at this time, Inurnment will be held at the Winfield National Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to Compassion International in his memory and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
