David W. Van Leeuwen's Obituary
Rev. David Wayne Van Leeuwen, age 46 of rural Fall River, KS, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. David was born December 24, 1961, at St. Joe Hospital in Wichita, KS, the son of Max and Marjorie (Straub) Van Leeuwen.
David was a graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School, in Wichita, KS. David was a song writer, player and singer for the group “Twenty II Lifeâ€; he was a member of BMI and produced his band’s first album CD. David was also a pretty good magician according to family and friends. Mostly, he wanted for people to be happy. As his last tribute, he donated his hair to “Locks of Loveâ€.
On July 7, 2007 in rural Fall River, Kansas, David married Lisa J. Cohernour, she survives at their home.

Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Christ Church in Oak Manor.
