Deanna Lynn Barnhart, age 69, of Chanute, KS passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at NMRMC in Chanute. Deanna was born in Chanute, KS on September 2, 1947, the daughter of Kenneth and Leta (Sinclair) Patterson.
Deanna was united in marriage to Glenn Barnhart on March 6, 1976 in Chanute, KS. He survives her at the home.
Deanna received her Associates Degree from Neosho County Community College and worked for USD 413 for 30 plus years. She was a member of the Retired Teacher’s Organization and volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Drive.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Patterson and sister, Carolyn Heptic.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel in Chanute. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the New Life United Brethren Church in Chanute, KS. Interment will be at Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
