for somebody who really did not talk much, she always made me laugh. We took her to the beach for the first time. I dont know who enjoyed it more. She was amazed and thrilled or me to she her so happy. I also took her for a girls night out with some of my girlfriends. the fun only lasted a short time for her but lasted all night for the rest of us. I have never seen anyone that actual shade of green before. Ad I really had no idea she knew some of the words she was throwing at me. I did feel bad but it really was funny. We also shared her going thru an earthquake for the first time. AHAHAHAHAHA when she finally calmed down she laughed along with me. We could spend hours on the phone just chatting and laughing. I know she really loved being a mom. I dont know how many people actually got to experience her awesome sense of humor and her warm and giving heart. I just know that I am glad I was one of those people.

I really enjoyed Debbies company. We were always laughing about something silly. I remember taking her to see the ocean for the first time. the look of amazement and joy all over her face. I also took her to one of the local bars here. I believe that was the first time she went out with the girls to go dancing. I had a great time, but needless to say after several drinks there was no look of amazement or joy on her face or in her words. The green tint of her face said it all. that was the first time I heard her yell. I had no idea she even knew the words she was yelling at me. I still lmao. We were together when she felt her 1st earthquake. Her reaction to this day makes me laugh. I will really miss knowing that at least 1 person actually lives in Kansas.
I'm so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. Regrettably, I was never able to meet her, but we are connected by her son Shannon, who is now my son too. She raised a funny, strong and responsible young man and is now building a life with my oldest daughter Ana. I'm sure she is very proud of the both of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
