Delbert Custer Myers age 51 of Independence, KS, died at his home on February 03, 2017. Delbert was born on May 07, 1965 in Chanute, the son of Paul W. and Janet Darlene "Patterson" Myers.
Delbert was a graduate of Altoona Midway High School. Delbert worked several years for Emerson's in Independence as a part's painter, until he was no longer able to work. Delbert traveled all over Independence on his scooter, where he enjoyed visiting with all the people of the community.
