Delbert W. Ford's Obituary
Delbert W. Ford, 80, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas , died Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Golden Living Center, Fredonia, KS. He was born January 25, 1927, in Newkirk, Oklahoma the son of William Everett and Letta Blanch (Beckenholdt) Ford. He ranched in the Cedarvale, Sedan and Moline area for 30 years before taking over the family farm in Fall River, Kansas which he ran for the next 30 years, retiring in 1996.
In 1947 he married Dorothy Armena Doty. She preceeded him in death July, of 2003.
Delbert was very involved in the community, being a member of the Fall River Booster Club, 3rd degree Mason serving more than 50 years. He was also a board member of the Severy Co-op, and a member of several square dance clubs.

1-Son: Marvin Ford Fredonia, Kansas
1-Daughter: Debra Hogan Alva, Oklahoma
1-Brother: W.E.(Henry) Ford Fritch, Texas
4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2006 at the Fall River Methodist Church with Pastor Charlotte Coates officiating. A memorial has been established in his name with the Fall River Booster Club or Fall River Methodist Church and may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736
