Della Michelle Gilbert's Obituary
Della Michelle Gilbert, age 49, a resident of Longton, Kansas passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Independence, Kansas. She was born on November 27, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri to Michael Isbell and Norma Jean Emmons.
On August 23, 1990 she married Steven Gilbert and he preceded her in death. Della worked for Elk Valley School as a cook.
Della is survived by two daughters, Casandra Davis and Michele Gilbert both of Longton; mother Norma Cherry of Sedan, Kansas; three brothers, John Cornstubble of Sedan, Kansas; Ringo Stewart of Topeka, Kansas; and William Moore and sister Barbara Snider of Sedan, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorials may be made to charity of choice and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home in Howard.
