Deloras "Dee" I. Shoaf's Obituary
Deloras “Dee” I Shoaf, age 85 of Fredonia, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Deloras was born on April 14, 1932 in Fredonia the daughter of Hubert and Gladys (Logan) Powell.
Deloras was a graduate of Fredonia High School. On December 31, 1950, Deloras married Carl Shoaf. Deloras and Carl were married for 59 years until his death of February 4, 2010. Deloras was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and doing embroidery work, she was an avid K-State basketball fan, and watching old western movies. She loved to visit with her family and friends, tease when she could, and had a great sense of humor. Deloras was even known as one of the best pie makers.
Deloras was a member of the Calvary Wesleyan Church of Fredonia, she was an intercessor and Prayer Warrior. She was an animal enthusiast and rescuer, and loved Buster the dog. Most of all, Deloras’s life was her family and as always, “Granny loves you more”.

Deloras was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, Infant twin girls, son Terry Shoaf, sister Louis Goff and grandson Scott Blevins
Cremation has been requested. A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Fredonia City Cemetery.
