Delores Elaine McIntosh's Obituary
Delores Elaine McIntosh, age 83 of Buffalo, KS, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Delores was born February 20, 1931 in Augusta, KS the daughter of Silas and Ora (Barker) Hamilton.
Delores attended Wichita State University and earned a degree as a Paralegal. On June 18, 1994 she married Raymond C. McIntosh at Ranando Beach, CA.
Delores was known around the area for writing a column for the Chanute, Fredonia, and Yates Center papers. She was also a member of the Buffalo United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband; Raymond of the home, sons; Jack Owen of Washington state, Jeff Owen of Argonia, KS, brothers; John Hamilton of Topeka, KS, Robert (Bob) Hamilton of Alamo, CA, 1 grandchild, and 1 great-grandchild.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Ora, and daughter; Janet Sue Staton.
Family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Family suggests memorials to Castaways Animal Shelter or Buffalo United Methodist Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
