I first met Dennis after an armed robbery at a gas station I operated on Rainbow Blvd. He would periodically stop by after that to visit. After we found out we shared the same twisted humor and that I laughed at his true stories, he came around with frequency. He would always beat me to work when I opened up on the weekends. He would make coffee, take out the trash cans while I stocked the cooler. Then one day he says " you need to meet my little sister" . Well after a couple months and myself running out of excuses NOT to I relented and his parents and little sister came up for a visit. That was 4 kids and 30 years ago, and I could NOT have asked for any better in-laws than what God has blessed me with.
