Dixie Lee (Shultz) Vincent, age 73, of Chanute, KS passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 in Huston, TX. Dixie was born on April 9, 1943 in Chanute, Kansas the daughter of George and Clara (Ogden) Shultz.
In 1962 she married John Vincent. John preceded her in death on September 10, 1999.
Dixie retired from Kustom Signals in Chanute where she worked as a laborer. She loved spending time with her family. She loved to cook and always made Sunday dinners for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, bowling tourneys and playing cards or marbles with her sisters.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, and brother Gene Shultz.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel in Chanute. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
