Don Albert Beiter's Obituary
Don Albert Beiter, age 61, a lifetime resident of rural Longton, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at his home. Don was born on August 5, 1946 in Longton, Kansas to Don Tyler and Lillian (Vestel) Beiter. Don was a graduate of Longton High School.
Don had previously worked for the Elk County Road Department, Martin Marietta Concrete and construction. He also farmed and raised cattle. In his spare time he liked to ride motorcycles and fish.
Don was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Dillenger, infant brother Dannie and sister Pauline Grandstaff.

One Sister: Leanne Tessneer Guthrie, OK
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Longton Cemetery, with Pastor Tim Adams of the 1st Baptist Church of Longton officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 PM Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Countryside Funeral Home 420 S. 20th St. Fredonia, KS. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home, PO Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736.
