Don Loyd Dixon's Obituary
Donald “Don” Loyd Dixon, age 89, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Clearwater Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clearwater, Kansas.
Don was born August 28, 1933 in Glenwood, Arkansas to Ernest and Lily (Cox) Dixon. On March 29, 1969, Don married Cleta Jackman. They enjoyed 48 years together until her passing in 2017
.
Don worked as a machinist, retiring from Coleman Manufacturing in 1992 after many years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Don is survived by his sons:

David (Teresa) Dixon of Wichita
Dean Dixon of Wichita
Dennis (Darcy) Dixon of Wichita
Kevin (Bonnie) Bunch of Haysville
Brother, Clint Dixon of Texas
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cleta, stepson Lee Bunch, brothers Tommy, James, Johnny, Larry, and sisters Tina and Evelyn.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at South Lawn Cemetery in Severy, KS with Pastor Tony Pameticky officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Severy Baptist Church and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
