Donald "Donnie" Kevin Anderson's Obituary
Donald "Donnie" Kevin Anderson, age 64 of Independence, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Donnie was born in Fredonia, KS the son of Donald Edwin and Mirma Jean (Jackson) Anderson.
Donnie was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 1977, and then on to welding school after graduation. Donnie enjoyed being a member of the Boy Scouts while he was growing up, he also enjoyed and was active in the Fredonia Art Clubs. Donnie was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Donnie worked several years for A-Lert Construction in Fredonia doing custodial services, he then worked at the Cessna plant in independence for a contractor doing custodial services until his retirement. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his friends and going to rodeos. Most of all, Donnie was very proud of all his nieces and nephew.

Sister: Tamara L. Betts of Independence, KS
Nieces: Adrielle, Alessandra and Andrea Betts
Nephew: Jordan Betts
4 Great Nephews and 1 Great Niece
Donnie was preceded in death by his father Donald E. Anderson
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials have been suggested to either Countryside Funeral Home for a Monument for Donnie to be placed at the cemetery or to the Fredonia Arts Council.
