Donald R. Green's Obituary
Don R. Green, 64, of Altoona, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Neosho Memorial in Chanute, KS. Don was born on August 27, 1961, in Fredonia, KS. a twin son to Frank and Nadine (Ambrose) Green.
Don was a graduate of Altoona Midway, class of 1979. After graduation, Don started working for Cobalt Boats in Neodesha, where he continued working for the next 46 years, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target practice. He was an avid K.C. Chiefs fan, spending time with his buddies’ playing checkers, being social and cooking.

Cremation has been requested with a Celebration of Life Service to be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 am at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
