Sorry to hear of the loss of Rev Don to your family. It was always so nice to see you all when visiting the Howard church. I know this will be a difficult phase, but remember the fun times-and his smile. God will help you now. Take care. Bryce and Janette Haverkamp, Garden City KS
I remember Don and Lavina playing cards and laughing and eating!! Paul and I had some wonderful times with these lovely people. I remember Don grabbing up what he thought was a plate of divinity and popping a big piece in his mouth. The look on that face was priceless!! It was FEDA CHEESE!! From then on he always asked what the food was! so funny. I am so proud to have know this family --all the way from Bubbie down to Little Ruthie. My heart is heavy Kids as I know yours are. I am here if you need me. Betty Harnar

I never knew Mr. Harper, I know his daughter Linda. My prayers are with the whole family as they traverse this trying time.
I want to send my condolences to the family of Don. I went to ICC with Carol & also knew Ruth & Nancy from many years ago. I always remember their family being a close knit family & that their dad was a preacher, serving wherever God led him. I also met the daughter of one of the girls at Pleasant Valley Manor when my mother-in-law was there. Again, I have fond memories of you girls & wanted to say that I am praying for you & your loved ones. We are never ready to let go of our parents, but heaven will be a wonderful reunion some day!! Our prayers goes out to the Rev. Don Harper's family. Rev. Harper was our pastor at Climax UM Church for many years and we dearly missed him when he left. He was one of the nicest person you could ever meet. God be with you all. Phillip and Conny Bratton
When I started attending the little UM church at Climax, I was searching for a church home. Listening to Rev. Don, and seeing the love of GOD radiating from his face each Sunday convinced me I had found my church home. That was in 1997. In 2001, Don baptised me in the Fall River and I joined the Climax church. His kindness, humor and love of his fellowmen will be now be spread through out Heaven!! I hope he's having some good fishing there also!! RIP Dear Don. Fran McDaniel/ Climax, Ks
