Donald M Hull's Obituary
Donald M. Hull, age 85, passed away September 13, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kansas. Donnie was born to Herman and Sylvia (Fisher) Hull on December 6, 1933 in Erie, KS.
Don graduated from Grant High School in 1952, where he was an excellent student in industrial arts. He went to work for Erie Creamery right after graduation and worked his way up to getting his own milk trucks. Don would work holidays and weekends so his employees could spend time with their families. He loved farming and raising cattle. Don had dedicated his whole life taking care of his family. Don never married and was a very hard-working man. He was a member of the Bethel Church and served as superintendent for years. He also attended Friends Church in Stark.
Don was adventurous and traveled all over the United States. He was an avid reader and loved westerns, especially Louis L'Amour. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and would always talk about his fishing trip to Canada with his buddies. Don also enjoyed talking about his trip along the west coast riding his Harley-Davidson with Norman Roberts riding his Indian motorcycle and seeing the Great Sequoias. Don was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale and sister, Carol. He is survived by his brother, Darryl Hull of Wichita, KS, who talked to him everyday; nephew and wife of Ottawa, KS and a niece and husband of Peabody, KS. A special thank you to Margaret Moyer of Country Place Senior Living in Fort Scott for all the extra care she gave to Don.
