I remember growing up with Don and Dorthy as our neighbors. Mom and Dad went out to eat regularly with them. Don was always pleasant and Dorthy always had an interesting project going on.

As I was facility nurse at Guest Home, I was with Don pretty much on a daily basis. He was so darn cute, and quite the pistol! He was loved by all the staff. He was very entertaining and had such a cute laugh. I would take my dog to work with me on occasion, especially if I got called out in the night. Scooter would always go to Don's room. Don would always "sneak" food to Scooter in the dining room as well. He got a kick out of doing that. I have pictures of him and Scooter together. These will be cherished. Don will be missed by so many. Deb Thornton.
