Donald Ray Phillips, age 83 of Chanute, KS, passed away on April 22, 2018 at his home in Chanute, KS. He was born December 28, 1934 in Neodesha, KS the son of George and Sinda (Mumford) Phillips.
On August 2, 1984, Don married Margaret Wilson in Miami, OK. Margaret passed away in 2017. Don was a simple man and he enjoyed spending his time working on his rental houses and with his family. His family meant the world to him and he will be greatly missed.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; son, Charles E. Kirk, Jr.; brothers, Larry, Bob and David Phillips and a sister, Birdie Carter.
Cremation has been requested. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel at 101 N. Highland in Chanute, KS.
