Donald Roger Reed's Obituary
Donald Roger Reed age 81 of Fredonia, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his home. Don was born on August 28, 1934 in St. John, KS, the son of Jesse Traymond and Olive “Alma” (Gailey) Reed.
Don was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 1953. After high school he joined the US Marines and served for 3 years during the Korean War. Don was a carpenter by trade, he worked for Wilson County as the Road and Bridge Supervisor, operated a service station and a restaurant for many years.
In 1956 Don married Bennie Weatherby and they later divorced, on September 18, 1976 Don married Debby Cunningham, and she survives at their home. Don loved working with cattle and spending time at the sale barn. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting and doing wood work. Most of all, Don enjoyed his grandchildren.

15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers Robert and David Reed
Cremation has been requested, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 1:30 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia.
