Donna Frances Noland's Obituary
Donna Frances (Timmons) Noland peacefully passed away at her home on Monday, May 6th, 2013 in Longton, KS at the age of 66. She was born on August 24, 1946 in Neodesha, Kansas the daughter of Floyd Andrew and Eulalia Jean (Smith) Timmons.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 9th at the Countryside Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, KS. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Longton, KS on Friday, May 10th at 2 pm. Graveside service will follow in Fredonia, KS at the Fredonia Cemetery.
Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leo Noland; son and daughter-in-law Allen and Chris of Owasso, OK; daughter Cathy of Lakewood, CO; granddaughters Megan and Jordyn; father Floyd Timmons of Fredonia, KS; brothers Charlie Timmons of Wichita, KS; Bob Timmons of Fredonia, KS; and Mike Timmons of Fredonia, KS. She was preceded in death by her mother Eulalia Jean (Smith) Timmons and her grandparents.
Donna was a retired secretary of the Elk Valley School District and previously owned and operated the Longton Lumber Yard. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church where she was the Music Director for 37 years.
In lieu of flowers, Donna has requested that donations be made in her memory to Mercy Hospital Cancer Center 800 W. Laurel, Independence, KS 67301 and may be left with the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside – Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.
