Dustin Scott Miller's Obituary
Dustin Scott Miller, age 37 of Fredonia, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Fredonia Regional Hospital.
Dustin was born July 21, 1984 in Independence, KS. He grew up in the Southeast Kansas area among many friends and family. He liked to fish and camp, shoot guns, and hang out with his friends. He liked to tinker around and make things like numb chucks and bracelets for people. One of his favorite things to do was hunt for arrowheads and any artifacts he could find. He also enjoyed taking Tae Kwan Do classes, which he was planning to start taking again soon.
In September 2005, Dustin met Sokon Tes and fell in love. They have enjoyed the last 17 years together, the last 12 years living in Fredonia. They loved to spend time raising turtles, and have 7 of them that are part of the family.
If you knew Dustin, you know he was a bullheaded person. He would argue with you about anything, but then turn around and help you do anything you needed help with. He loved his cigarettes and coffee, drinking his coffee hot in the morning and cold in the afternoon. He was a kind hearted person, who tried to act tough, but had a good heart and loved his family and friends.
Dustin is survived by his life partner, Sokon Tes
Mother, Theresa Miller of Neodesha
Sister, Brandi Fischer and her husband Corey of Mannford, OK
2 nieces and 1 nephew
Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation has been requested, and a Memorial Graveside service to be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Fredonia City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Countryside Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
Services entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th, PO Box 247, Fredonia, KS 66736
