Earl F. "Pido" Pruitt's Obituary
Earl F. “Pido” Pruitt, 67, passed away on December 14, 2017 in Chanute, KS. Earl was born on July 23, 1950 to Earl Floyd and Faye Lenora (Peacock) Pruitt in Chanute, KS.
On January 14, 1970, Earl married Carolyn Davis in Erie, KS. She survives at their home.
Earl was a loving husband, dad, papa, and brother who loved his family above anything else. He was a hard worker who was very smart and loved to joke. In his spare time, Earl enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved making improvements to common items and was artsy and recently developed an interest in painting. Along with being a proud member of the Chocolate Milk Club, Earl also loved his Camaro and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Earl worked for Churchill for many years, was a courier for several banks and pharmacies, and delivered papers for the Chanute Tribune. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sonny Hazen, Lonnie Hazen, and Delbert Pruitt; and sisters, Oleta Schooley, Otheda Hartin, and Charlotte Hesdalen.
A visitation will be held on December 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel. A funeral service will be held on December 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home – Johnson Chapel followed by interment at Vilas/Bethel Cemetery in Chanute, KS.
